The solar system.
The Solar System The Solar System is made up of the Sun and smaller bodies that move on their own axis and around the Sun. The smaller bodies include planets such as Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and satellites. Pluto is no more a planet as it is very far away from the Sun. It is small and is not visible. Satellites are small planet like bodies rotating on their axis and revolving around the bigger planets. The Moon is the satellite of the Earth. Planets and satellites are held around by the gravitational force of the Sun. Mercury is nearest and Neptune is the farthest planet from the Sun.
